For Meeting Planners

Obstacles are Opportunities in Disguise

Maureen Cain’s high-energy presentations which she delivers with humor, earn her standing ovations from students. She began her business career as a one-woman operation in interior design and built the business into a team of 13 gifted people serving a commercial international clientele. Along the way she purchased a furniture factory. But after 13 years in the business she lost everything, overnight, in the Miami riots. The experience was life-changing and propelled her toward new challenges. Maureen eventually found her second passion in Financial Services. There for over a decade, she worked for a national firm as an award-winning broker specializing in stock indexes and U.S. Treasury Bonds.

She has been hailed by corporations, associations, chambers of commerce and teachers and students as an empowering, inspirational, motivator. An award-winning writer, she is the co-author of the popular money-management book, “Let Your Dough Ri$e : A Woman’s Financial Recipe Book.” Maureen is a frequent guest on CBS, Studio 10. Read her testimonials.

She was born and educated in England and knows from experience that academic achievements are not the only requirement for obtaining and sustaining professional success. She uses her 25+ years of extensive experience in business and in theatre, to enlighten students and stoke their imagination with hope and determination.
